Most people know I am a very resourceful person. Otherwise I wouldn’t be in the consulting business, right? RIGHT. Well – it always surprises me when people are not familiar with programs for small businesses in their state. I know of quite a few programs in Wyoming available to the public, but not everyone is aware of them. One I have recently connected with is a nonprofit organization that is in every state. It’s called SCORE.  >>

Last week I had the most amazing conversation from someone that volunteers for SCORE Wyoming (based in Cheyenne). I was matched with a retired business owner / CEO that took a look at my business now & recommended ways in which I could improve greatly. Working on my own, I sometimes forget that I can really benefit form an outsider looking in. Mentors can be tough to find & although I’ve had many over the years, I am ready for the next steps to revamp my business! That’s why SCORE can be super helpful.

Could your small business benefit from a meeting with a SCORE volunteer? They just may scare you a little with their recommendations (OK, maybe a lot), but it’s all business in the end, right?
