& I missed writing an entry last month . . . whoopsie!
Well, better late than never right?  Especially when one is recovering from the flu & is FORCED to slow down!

OK, this post is all about the best ways to create “share worthy” content this holiday.  You always want your audience to help spread the word about your business to friends & colleagues, so what works?  Perhaps trying the proven tools below during the holidays can help you see a difference!

* Does your audience know what causes you support?  According to a 2012 Goodpurpose study, 72% of consumers would recommend a brand that supports a good cause over one that doesn’t.  Plus, 71% of consumers would help a brand promote their products or services if there is a good cause behind them.  A company that gives, is one that people respect.

* What does your audience find valuable? Perhaps before telling them about your special, you write an article about it – then you can offer it. According to a study by the Custom Content Council, “Nearly 75% say they prefer information from companies in the form of articles over ads.”

* People love a great deal, especially at holiday time.  Why not use social media to entice people to connect with you (AKA: “Like Us”) & give a coupon, percent off, or offer a free item to the first 50 people accessing the deal?

As the holiday season gets underway in the next week, why not try some of these tactics?  Think of ways in which your business can create share worthy content by way of shared values (causes), added value (write an article to uphold why something should be purchased), and special social offers (give them a discount for a day with a “Facebook only” code) & make this your most successful holiday yet!
